what happened when i tried to copy jodie

So far so good. I had my cups of frozen action figures and cars and stuff. We went outside and got out the little pool and watering cans.

But then, disaster struck when Janie inadvertently spilled approximately half a cup of water on P.
I knew I was in for Blog Gold, since P is allergic to water and it saps his strength and burns his skin like acid and also brings about the apocalypse.
Check out the close-up.
The cold-hearted perpetrator, callous and uncaring about the pain she has caused.
So we moved her onto the swings, but then the water from the pool stuck to the dirt under the swing set when she (repeatedly) fell off...

  2. One word... AWESOME. I was laughing out loud as I was reading and then had to explain the whole thing to my husband who wondered why I was having a fit.

  3. I L.O.V.E. this post. I don't think I have laughed this hard in days! Only in the world of a mother would you have to explain that the last photo isn't really poop. Oh the life we live!

    Wicked funny!

  4. that. is. awesome.

you are way braver than me b/c our water table is on the screened in porch, not outside. mud scares me so although the girls slip constantly on the wet floor, it's way better than the alternative.

oh, and i am so glad there's someone else that will keep taking photos of their kid in obvious distress rather than go to their aid! :)

wait until i post tomorrow about toy washing and paint popcicles!

  6. That was tearjearking funny. It looks like the kids had a lot of fun, though I'm sure the cleanup was not fun for you. I'm going to have to try this!

  8. This is so funny, I can't even stand it! I had to explain the whole thing to Marc too. This post should go down in history.

  9. Hilarious (not that I'm laughing at poor Phoenix). I love when kids make those horrible faces at things that totally can't possibly hurt them.
